Situated between Aberaeron and New Quay close to the Ceredigion Heritage coastline, Tan-yr-Onnen is close to several beaches including Cwmtudu, New Quay, Aberporth, Tresaith and Penbryn.

There is a pub within a mile and several good places to eat within 5 miles of the cottage as well as numerous visitor attractions including the Honey Farm, a Bird of Prey centre, the National Coracle Centre, Caws Cenarth cheese farm, Mills and a Steam Railway.

Accommodation

GROUND FLOOR

The cottage has slate tiled floors downstairs; some exposed stone walls and open beams.

Entrance is into the hallway and through to the lounge which has a green oak archway, and an attractive fireplace with an electric "stove effect" fire.

The room is furnished with two sofas and 2 comfy chairs, surround sound TV with DVD player and a nest of tables.

The KITCHEN/DINING room is fitted with a range of duck egg green cottage units incorporating electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave oven.

The dining area has an oak table with 6 chairs. The utility room has a Belfast sink, freezer and space for coats and beach equipment.

There is also a boiler room.

BEDROOM1 has a double bed, bedside tables, dressing table and wardrobe.

The attractive shower room has a suite of shower, WC and wash basin.

FIRST FLOOR

A wooden staircase leads to bedrooms 2 and 3 on the FIRST FLOOR where there are sloped ceilings and attractive country views.

BEDROOM 2 has a double bed, and coordinating bedroom furniture.

BEDROOM 3 has twin beds (with an extra "roll-over" bed beside one of them) and co-ordinating bedroom furniture.

The FAMILY BATHROOM has a bath, hand basin and WC.  Bedlinen is provided.

Garden & Parking

There are well maintained gated grounds with mature trees and shrub borders, a lawn area, large patio and a spacious tarmac parking area with space for up to 3 cars and a boat.

Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided. There is a garden shed for storing bikes and beach equipment.

There is oil central heating throughout; this is included in the rental from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £30 at all other times.

A standard cot, high chair and stair gate are available.

Towels are available to hire at £3 per guest.

Up to two well behaved pets are welcome but must sleep in the utility/boiler room. There is a dog basket and bowls available.

Horses are also welcome. A three acre field is available directly behind the cottage.
